Sarah Hipps

Sarah Hipps is the Assistant Project Director at the Confucius Institute at Michigan State University (CI-MSU). She works primarily with K-12 schools but also has responsibilities in various outreach projects as well. Sarah is responsible for US school district (K-12) support for K-12 Chinese programs, acts as the main CI-MSU liaison for the school district administrators, and is the Site Administrator for CI-MSU’s Chinese Language and Culture Summer Camp.

Sarah earned her degree in Elementary Education with minors in Agricultural Education and Biology from Michigan State University. Currently, her main areas of educational interest are teacher preparation, Immersion, and second language education.
