Summary of Program Requirements
The Master of Arts in Literacy Instruction program is a 33-credit program within the Department of Teacher Education. It takes most students between 2 and 3 years to complete, depending on how many classes they choose to take each semester. All program requirements must be met within 5 years of the date of the earliest course.
For Michigan State University graduates, TE 801, TE 802, and TE 804 can be substituted for 3 of the courses in this program.
