Teaching Position: School Psychology Program Assistantship Position, 50%

Semesters Offered: Fall /Spring

Duties/Requirements: This 50% Graduate Assistantship involves helping with the administration responsibilities of the Director of Clinical Training and the Program Director. Activities include assisting faculty with field placements, communicating with field supervisors, coordinating student recruitment activities and internship day, maintenance of program website, assisting with trainings & events provided by the program, general support of program activities, and meeting bi-weekly with the faculty.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Background, knowledge, competencies and skills in school psychology
  2. Completion of a minimum of 400 hours of school psychology practicum
  3. Knowledge of MSU School Psychology training program, philosophy, and model.

Training: The Graduate Assistant is required to attend orientation meetings prior to the start of fall semester.

Mentoring and Monitoring: The Graduate Assistant will meet weekly or bi-weekly with faculty supervisor.

Evaluation: The Graduate Assistant will be evaluated at least once each semester. Written and verbal feedback will be provided.
