Teaching Position: CEP 301 Literacy Instruction for Students with Mild Disabilities

Semesters Offered: Spring

Duties: Grade student projects and assessments; develop instructional materials and activities; teach select course content

Supervising Faculty: Carol Sue Englert

Desired Qualifications: Knowledge about elementary and secondary literacy instruction; experience teaching reading and writing to struggling learners

List Qualifications: Regular class attendance; ability to apply grading rubrics and assignment examples in grading; timeliness; strong attention to detail

Orientation and Training: Orientation session with instructor prior to beginning of semester; ongoing verbal feedback regarding performance; weekly meetings with instructor to discuss instructional plans

Mentoring, Monitoring, and Evaluation: Formal evaluation using CEPSE evaluation form at end of semester; written feedback regarding instruction with debriefing
