Coaching, Sport Administration, and Student-Athlete Development Concentrations

This file includes sample program plans for students in the coaching, sport administration, and student-athlete concentrations. Students should also consult the M.S. Handbook document on designing program plans, that includes relevant KIN and MSU policies. The program plan form is located on the College of Education web site under "for students" then "current graduate students" then "required forms for graduate students."

The sample program plans which follow are just that - samples. Students should consult the descriptions of the coaching, sports administration, and student-athlete development concentrations for a more extensive list of possible courses. Students should also consult with their advisors regarding course selection. A minimum of 30 semester credits are required for the M.S. degree - students certainly may complete a greater number of credits. The transfer credit policy is described in the M.S. Handbook.
