Continuing Awards

The MSU Graduate School, College of Education (CED), Education Policy Program, and external agencies provide various forms of support for Ed Policy students.

  • Ed Policy support may be in the form of conference and travel support; research and data collection hard cost support, including software and equipment; and summer research support.
  • The College offers a number of programs to support continuing students: regular fellowships, endowed scholarships, and CED Summer Research Fellowships. Competition for these fellowships and scholarships are announced through the Ph.D. student listserv. All Ph.D. students who are enrolled in the semester the competition is announced will receive notification via their MSU e-mail account. Students not enrolled, will receive the announcement from the program coordinator.
  • The Graduate School supports Incentive Fellowships, Graduate School Research Enhancement and Travel Grants, and Graduate School Dissertation Completion Fellowships (awarded through a competitive process in the College). These programs are described on the Graduate School website.
