The Student Experience

The Student Affairs Administration program offers students many unique and powerful learning experiences, including:

• Practical internships at Michigan State and across the country
• Study abroad experiences and a global understanding of higher education
• Teaching opportunities
• Original research
• Interaction with leading scholars in higher education
• Participation in local, regional, & international professional organizations
• Study with a strong faculty who have a wide variety of research interests
• Diverse environments for learning and working

Current students participated in a variety of practica experiences this summer in South Africa, Ireland, and with NODA or ACUHO-I internships at institutions such as Brown University, Hawaii Pacific University, Indiana University, Radford University, and Southern Methodist University.
