Deaf Education Teacher Certification Program in Special Education has been recommended for a moratorium on admission effective SS10 and discontinuation of the program is being recommended through academic governance. Students currently in the program will be allowed to complete their certification by SS13.
In addition, the emphasis areas of deaf education and emotional impairment within the special education masters degree have been recommended for discontinuation. Moratorium on admissions for these two areas is effective for SS10.
