2019 Chinese Immersion Forum

The Confucius Institute at the Michigan State University (CI-MSU) is hosting the 2019 Chinese Immersion forum. Our aim is to bring together educators at school, district, state, and national levels; teacher developers; policy makers; community members; and researchers to hear about and share strategies and successes, seek advice in addressing challenges, and network with and learn from each other.

This Forum is free of charge. Breakfast, lunch, and materials are included. You are responsible for all other expenses.

Travel Information

Hotel: We recommend the Candlewood Suites Hotel-Lansing which is right next to the Henry Center where the Forum will be held. Please make your own reservation. For more hotel recommedation and information, please check HERE.

Airport: The closest airport is Lansing Capital Region International Airport (LAN). It is about 12 miles (one way) from the airport to Henry Center and Candlewood Hotel. Alternatively, you can fly to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) and take Michigan Flyer bus (about 2 hours one way) to East Lansing.
